Still troubleshooting.
I’ve re-installed the Bunnytags for Technorati and placed them higher up on my template and they seemed to work there. However No tags are working form previous posts -posts from earlier last week and before. This is the majority of my content. So there is still an issue. Even when I update the tags from older posts -the new updated tag doesn’t show up in the Technorati index. Hummmmmmmmm.
So, New posts are working with the tag code in it’s current placement on the template, but older ones still aren’t.
Questions:
- Does Technorati have a limit as to the number of pings it receives from the same content?
- Does Technorati refuse pings from old content?
- How does one go about re-tagging old content and getting it indexed?
- Did Technorati code change recently?
- Will a Wordpress upgrade fix something that Technorati changed that is causing these problems?
