So Simple Crochet Baby Hat

September 8th, 2007   |  Print This Post

This was cute and simple -a great intro to crochet that made a cute gift as well.

I’ve been so very busy this summer. I started a new job that has been demanding, but rewarding leaving precious little time for knitting or crochet. The summer seems to have flown by. My best friends sister is having a baby –well actually she just had the baby last night. A baby girl named Annie. This was a perfect opportunity to get back with the yarn. I made Annie a little pink crochet hat, my very first crochet hat and I can see how baby clothes can be great quick projects that can give immediate satisfaction.

I like crochet –it’s pretty easy and the one hook is a bit of a luxury. I still enjoy knitting, but crochet is a great additional and complementary craft. Here is the hat and pattern.

I used a size 8 crochet hook and 2 strands of Bernat Baby together each skein was 262m/50g

Please see pattern here.
