This is something I’ve been looking for -for awhile now; mittens that are simple and can be knitted on straights. I have a pattern that came from a friend’s book, but the thumb part is always tricky for me. When I am supposed to pick up stitches something invariably goes all wrong.
Thing is -there is an explanation on how to do this properly in her book -but I don’t have the book. This pattern is at least another option and I mean to try it. Besides -they are very cute all hanging together -like art. I really do need the I-cord running through my sleeves too!
