Knit Bear Smiling

February 5th, 2006   |

Here is Ted. Ted now has a face and a red scarf. I had to find some yarn light enough to show up on his dark face. I didn’t have any buttons, so I sewed the features. I’m not terribly displeased. He’s a smple bear after all.

Faceless no more. The same French surgeons that performed the unfortunate gals face transplant, where in Toronto this week on a mission of utmost importance. After numerous nail bitting hours of craftwork, ted was complete. A slight upturned quizzical smile greeted the world. Thumbs up to the French.

Yes, it was touch and go for awhile there -my internal clock is all askew from the worry.

The miracle of modern science. Ted has one of the most adorable faces around. We always knew that the French are a cut above.
