Knit Baby Blanket -Done

March 24th, 2006   |  Print This Post

I’ve finished my baby blanket. It works up a little free and easy. I mean, since you knit from corner to corner -it’s easy to alter your tension mindlessly and not notice until the work is finished. All in all -I think its fine, but if you want a perfectly square blanket, it may be better to knit from edge to edge instead of corner to corner.

I have knitted that blanket in everything from DK to super bulky yarn and it comes out gorgeous everytime! It is perfect for watching TV. And I love the YO edging. I did try varying the stitch (not garter stitch) but that messes up my tenson.

Yes I agree! its sooooo simple. I think my shawl is also similar -its the same thing really except you never decrease -so its even more mindless!! Thanks for the comment Bea!
