I know it’s summer and we don’t think about knitting warm things, but I saw this pattern and wanted to try it -so now I have and I can honestly say that it is both very easy and mindless (i love that) and looks pretty (love that too).
I think it would look great with different yarns -some lacy ones for a summery scarf would work very nice on larger needles.
This is my scarf so far -the pattern makes a kind of ribbed look. The width is perfect -26 stitches on DK yarn on 4.5mm bamboo needles. You repeat the same pattern every row -see the Yarn Harlot for the one line pattern. Scroll down the page and you will see the pattern that is only one line (couldn’t be simpler!!)
